activity check
Welcome to the Activity Check post for AKUDAMAX! Because of the short term of the game, it is crucial that we maintain a regular standard for activity to ensure that the game runs smoothly. To that end, we will be looking for a weekly submission of 20 comments total from your character. The comments will be due by 12 PM the following Wednesday; e.g. Week 1 AC will be due on August 25th. This must always be from the latest week, excluding the murder investigation post on Friday, the murder trial post on Saturday, and backtagging. NPC interactions are allowed as well as general investigations of the setting. The 20 comments can be taken from a minimum of two threads with different characters. It’s also acceptable to spread it out over more, with a minimum of 5 comments per thread. Ex. 4 threads with 5 comments each, or 1 thread with 10 + 2 threads with 5, etc. Living characters will also be expected to participate in the trials each Saturday. Please inform us mods if you need to be substantially absent for any given trial.
To submit your AC, please comment on this post while logged into your character's account, to create a header comment with your character's name in the subject title. After that, we'd like you to comment under the header for each check with the week it's for in the subject title, as well as links to the threads you are using. You can see a visual example of the progressive comments here. To streamline the process, we are also going to be counting your reward threads in the same comment. Simply label the minimum requirements as 'Main AC' and the rest of the threads as 'Reward', with the comment counts for each linked thread at the side of the link and a final total of both main and reward AC. The format is something like this:

As you can see in the Cutthroat thread, for reward threads the minimum comment number doesn't apply like it does in the main AC. You can just submit your threads in their current form! Also, backtagged threads can be linked in subsequent weeks to the reward section only, starting from where they left off in the count from the previous week. Then, when you want to cash in at the black market, you just comment how much of the crypto you earned you're using. (Feel free to keep a cumulative total somewhere in your comments for your saving/spending convenience!)
"Private conversations" can be used for "reward AC", NOT "main AC".
Lastly, you don't have to track comments if your character is dead. However, checking in to the post with a simple comment is still mandatory, and it will also be possible to continue submitting reward AC for a different type of reward based on the combined totals of the dead characters. In the case of both living and dead, missing your check-in too many times can come with consequences. For the living, it could result in your character being suddenly killed off. For the dead, well.... let's just say the reason for their absence may potentially be made clear, and leave it at that!
