ENDGAME CHECK-IN POST
Hey everyone! We've gotten a lot of great player plots for this last week. To make everything run as smoothly as possible, we have decided to share with you the spoiler-free list of possible ending paths for AKUDAMAX.
Ending Path 1: This has been ruled out by player actions.
Ending Path 2: This ending path will occur if a majority of characters choose to BOARD the Shinkansen.
Ending Path 3: This ending path will occur if a majority of characters choose to REFUSE the Shinkansen. This will also occur in the event of a certain density of crimes in the game.
Ending Path 4: This ending path occurs in a location (i.e. not the Shinkansen) to be reached by player investigation.
All of the Ending Paths will lead to a unique and thrilling final challenge for the characters. The trials in each path can be faced for positive or negative outcomes.
In the specific case of Ending Path 4, we have reorganized the investigation to be possible to complete within the available time. However, we're still not getting comments in the locations of interest, so we'd like to disclose that it's a requirement for Ending Path 4 to investigate most of these areas. As for the question mark in Chiyozaki and the question mark in Umeda, these contain important lore about the game that may be very helpful in the final trial, but do not determine the ending path.
Getting in your votes by 6PM EST Fridy 9/10 will be super helpful to us!
Finally, we'd like to provide players of dead characters the opportunity to check in. There will be optional content available in the graveyard for you on Saturday, and knowing interest levels can't hurt.
