Private Conversations

So you want to have a private conversation, do you? Easy, my friend! Just follow these steps.

First, friend add akudamods as well as the others in the conversation. Feel free to use the Admin Console and paste the following to do them all at once:

Next, go here to manage your access filters.

Once there, create a new filter that includes the characters in the private conversation as well as Akudamods.

Write your post, change 'Show this entry to' to Custom, and then click the filter that was made. Now your post is private to the characters and mods, and you can hold the private conversation in it!

Finally, please post a link to the private conversation post in a comment to this page under the appropriate week header, applying any labels you deem necessary. This establishes the conversation as part of game canon, and makes the events easier to track after unlocks happen at the end of the game.

These steps are typically all that needs to be done! However, if you are holding a private conversation in the middle of trial, such as via Cardinal DMs or a passed paper note, the initiator will be required to indicate as such in at least one comment with a link to the thread (the thread can, of course, still be locked behind a filter. This is just because people Have Eyes.)
